We had an amazing experience working with Daren and Randy from the 2 Rivers Team! Having recently accepted a job in DC and committing to move to a new city that we had never once visited, house hunting could have been a daunting and scary endeavor. From the very first conversation we had with Daren and Randy, our minds were put at ease. They were incredibly understanding of our situation and were genuinely excited for us and the move. They took the time to get to know us and immediately got to work on finding us a home, even though we were still in another state.

On a weekend visit to DC, Daren drove us around to several condo showings, doubling as a knowledgable tour guide describing the various neighborhoods and pointing out notable landmarks. Our visit was brief and unfortunately we were not able to find the right condo, but Daren and Randy kept visiting condos on our behalf, calling us over FaceTime to view the properties virtually. They were not only extremely friendly and fun to meet with, but they were also very thoughtful and critical of the properties we viewed remotely.

To highlight one example of their meticulousness, during a visit to a new condo building they went to 5 or 6 units, splitting up so one of them could jump up and down while the other was in the lower unit to test the noise level (their idea). Their level of dedication and forethought was invaluable, and their service went above and beyond any realtor experience we’ve ever had or could even expect. We eventually found our condo (virtually), and Daren and Randy supported us through the entire closing process. Not once were we concerned with purchasing a condo sight unseen knowing that it was Daren and Randy approved. We highly recommend working with the 2 Rivers Team and will absolutely work with them for any of our future realty needs. They are the best!

We had looked at homes for a long time before contacting any realtors and when the time came to pick a realtor Randy was an easy choice. He was patient throughout the process and offered great insight into neighborhoods, developments, and what would or might not be a good fit for what we were looking for. With Randy's guidance we were fortunate to go under contract in just a few weeks. Where Randy really shined was how we helped us through the process of getting under contract, negotiating, and managing contingencies. We were first time home buyers so this process was very new to us, and having Randy to keep things moving and organized was a huge help and a weight off our shoulders. He got us an appliance warranty paid by the sellers which has already saved us a ton of money in repairs. Another great thing about Randy is that even after closing he has been in contact with us to make sure everything has been going smoothly with our new home. Whether we needed a roofer in a pinch or a trusted housekeeper Randy has had great recommendations. On top of being a great realtor, he's also a great person which is of course the most important thing. We would absolutely recommend Randy to any friends and family looking to buy in the DMV area.

Daren and Randy were extremely personable and efficient throughout the entire process. I tend to be a little more "OCD and Organized" and they allowed me the time needed to get my notes, and even reminded me of things to put on my list. They were always there to answer any questions or concerns I had, and NEVER made me feel as though I was a bother, or annoyance. They took their time when I needed extra explanations, and made sure to even point out things, I didn't notice. The knowledge of the area, and knowing where we were vs where we were going was amazing, I learned things about this city that I didn't even know (after living here for 37 years). They are top notch guys, and I sincerely appreciate their time, effort and abilities! HIGHLY recommend!
